- Check ladder / tray route is in accordance with design drawings.
- Check ladder racks / tray supports and clamps are in accordance with design drawings.
- Confirm Rack / Tray correctly identified.
- Check ladder / tray material meets the specification.
- Confirm no nuts or bolts are missing.
- Confirm all rough edges and burrs removed.
- Check ladder / tray is not a hazard to personnel / block access ways or prevent removal of equipment.
- Check bonding / earthing of rack conforms to specification.
- Cable ladder nodal ID number is fitted.
- Confirm separation maintained between rack systems.
- Confirm rack to transit alignment correct.
- Check insulation spacers are fitted between rack and steel supports, as per project specification.
- Confirm “kick plates” are installed when passing through floors / gratings.
- Rack / Tray ready for cable pulling.
- Installation drawings have been “Red Lined” as per the Project Completions Procedure.
