- Check the drawing status is “Issued for Construction”.
- Check the shop drawing is approved.
- Check the method statement is approved.
- Check the materials are approved.
- Check the material sizes are correct.
- Check the alignment of cable tray and ladder installation is correct.
- Check the support spacing is adequate.
- Check there are no mid-span joints.
- Check the finishing of cable trays and ladders are free from sharp edges, burrs etc.
- Check there is no physical damage on the installation.
- Check ladder/tray does not present a hazard to personnel, block access ways, or prevent removal of equipment.
- Check bonding/earthing conforms to design requirements.
- Check cable tray/ladder identification is as per the design requirements.
- Confirm no nuts or bolts are missing.
