1. Check name plate, labelling, ID tags and warning signs correct to drawings / data sheets.
2. Confirm no mechanical damage.
3. Cable glands are the correct type and size as per cable schedule and installed according to specifications.
4. Confirm location of local station against layout drawings and specification.
5. Confirm properly supported.
6. Confirm spare cable entries are correctly sealed.
7. Check internals clean and moisture free.
8. Check mechanical operation of push button & Auto / Manual controls.
9. E-Stop lockable and protection against accidental operation as per specification.
10. Confirm external cabling is undamaged.
11. Confirm connection and termination tight.
12. Earth bar and earthing correct, tight and continuity checked.
13. Check gaskets and seals are installed and not damaged.
14. Installation drawings have been “Red Lined” as per the Project Completions Procedure.
