- Check name plate, labelling, ID tags and warning signs correct to drawings / data sheets.
- Confirm no mechanical damage and paintwork unmarked.
- Confirm that cubicle doors are free from obstruction and no damage to door or seals.
- All covers fitted and no fasteners missing.
- Plug-in withdrawable functional unit operates correctly in all positions.
- Confirm rating of protective devices is as per drawing.
- Main and auxiliary contacts on plug-in withdrawable functional unit alignment correct.
- Isolator interlocked with door.
- Isolator operates correctly.
- Selector switches, MCBs and push-buttons are correct to drawing and undamaged.
- Instruments and indication lamps correct to drawing and undamaged.
- CTs and VTs correct to drawings and undamaged.
- Padlocking facilities correct.
- Phase identification correct and visible.
- Check internals for cleanliness and transit items removed.
- Check protection of live parts (busbars / spouts, barriers, etc.) are installed and complete.
- All internal wiring / cabling neat and in accordance with drawings and undamaged.
- Confirm manufacturers recommended preservation has been conducted.
- Measure and record earth resistance from cubicle to main earth point (_________________ Ω).
- Installation drawings have been “Red Lined” as per the Project Completions Procedure.
