- Check name plate, labelling, ID tags and warning signs correct to drawings / data sheets.
- Confirm correctly located.
- Ensure no mechanical damage (including paintwork).
- Earth bar and earthing correct, tight and continuity checked.
- Holding down arrangement correct and secure, as per project specification.
- Busbar alignment and connecting links tight to specified torque. (Record Value _________________)
- Phase identification correct.
- Instruments, ammeter and voltmeter scales and indication lamps correct.
- Confirm internal breaker/door mechanical interlocks correct.
- MCCB, contactors, fuses, indication lamps etc. correctly sized and identified.
- Confirm isolation locking mechanisms functional.
- Confirm busbar/circuit shutter padlocking operation correct.
- Check manual operation of selector switch, MCB, push button, etc.
- Confirm satisfactory incoming cable condition.
- Unused cable entries sealed.
- All internal cabling and wiring, correctly installed and undamaged.
- Check all cubicle doors can be fully opened without obstruction.
- Ensure all busbars are encapsulated as per design.
- Check gaskets and seals are not damaged.
- Confirm all covers/bolts are of correct type and fitted.
- Visually inspect all cubicles to ensure no internal damage, clean and dry.
- Ensure all fuse links are correct to drawings.
- Ensure all keys are available for panel doors, switches etc.
- CTs and VTs correct to drawing and undamaged, including externally mounted.
- Heaters correctly installed. Measure & record insulation resistance. (_________________MΩ)
- Measure earth path resistance at main earth terminal. (_________________Ω)
- Installation drawings have been “Red Lined” as per the Project Completions Procedure.
- Check insulation resistance between earth and phases and phases to phases. (Test Voltage _________________V)
- Perform Ductor tests across all bolted shipping joints.
